Application
Classes of Members:
(a) A Primary Member is a Proprietorship, Firm or Corporation
that is primarily engaged in the contract cleaning industry and
is business licensed as such.
(i) A Primary Member is entitled to have two (2) designated
representatives represent the Proprietorship, Firm or Corporation
at any meetings of the Association. Only one (1) of the designated
representatives shall vote on behalf of the Primary Member.
(ii) Each Primary Member is entitled to one (1) vote.
(b) An Associate Member is a Proprietorship, Firm or Corporation
that is engaged in support services associated with the contract
cleaning industry, i.e. supplier, consultant, etc. and is business
licensed as such.
(i) An Associate Member is entitled to have two (2) designated
representatives represent the Proprietorship, Firm or Corporation
at any meetings of the Association.
(ii) Associate Members are not entitled to vote.
(c) A person who has distinguished himself or herself by meritorious
service in support of the Association may be elected as an Honourary
Member by unanimous vote of those present at a meeting of Directors
regularly called or by Resolution signed by all of the Directors
of the Association.
(i) Honourary membership may be granted for a specified time
period or for life, at the discretion of the Directors.
(ii) An Honourary Member shall not be entitled to hold office
in the Association, nor be entitled to vote at meetings, but
shall have all other rights and privileges of membership.
2. Application for Membership:
(a) Application for membership shall be on a form prescribed
by the Board of Directors from time to time, signed by the applicant
and delivered to the Association’s office.
(b) The Board of Directors shall approve or reject each application.
Approval shall be by majority vote of the Board of Directors.
(c) No applicant shall be admitted to membership until all dues
for such period as the Directors may prescribe have been paid.
3. Responsibilities of Members:
(a) Members shall adhere to the Bylaws of the Association and
shall pay dues as prescribed by the Board of Directors
